Years ago, a friend whose sty at home mother started mushroom farming brought a bottle of home made mushroom pickle ( spicy, mallu style). He had mentioned that his mother got the recipe from the Kerala whatever dept that was promoting mushroom farming.
I have tried and tried to replicate the recipe. ( His mom wasn’t willing to share the recipe!)
I know it is simple to make pickle.. the basic ingredients are the same..
But I am not getting it right.
I now have three boxes of mushroom in the fridge ( it was going at half price!!!!)
I really would like to make a bottle of spicy mushroom pickle.
If you know how, will you pls share the recipe
( I have tried google.. no luck)
