Thank You Very Much

My stat counter reached 50,000 today!.

16 months ago, I was sitting in a cold, damp basement suite, and the only connection I had with the outside world was my computer and internet connection. Out of absolute boredom, I started blogging.

I had no idea then that anyone would be interested in reading my blog, or would even want to leave a comment.

I would like to thank all my readers, where you may be, for joining me, as I try to find answers to the questions that have plagued my mind for years.

I would like to share this poem, that helped me each and everytime I felt like asking, Why Me?

Robert Frost: The road not taken(1915)

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Once again, Thank you very much for reading my blog and please do leave a comment!

  1. You’re a strong woman, Sarah!
And I dont pity you for what you’ve gone through. I apreciate the fact that you’ve had the courage to hang in there, and keep moving.
And that’s the kind of stuff special people are made of.
Because I believe – no, i know – that energy cant die – that there is no permanent uphill ride.
and when the sun comes up again, the ordinary may not see the beauty of it. YOU will.
and to see you smile in the glow of a distant computer screen somewhere will make a lot of us smile too.
honestly. i’m know there are a lot of people out there feeling the same way. ad that’s a whole lot of positive energy.
so what are you waiting for? give us a smile!

  8. Hi,
A road less travelled for sure! But it takes courage of conviction and sheer determination to reach the goal- which I am sure you will soon….
What else can one say other than best wishes!

To toothless wonder:- the quickest way to clean up the “mess”- as you put it- is to post another comment when a tiny little icon- waste bin- will appear against all your comments. Then click to delete whatever you want!

  9. Congrats Sarah. But how can there not be so many hits? It’s like a magazine/TV serial which stops leaving you desperate to know more!
